In NYC, over 600 food pantries give bags of nourishing food, usually canned or dried food, to people in need.

PANTRY TIPS:
• If you’re going to a pantry far from your residence, call ahead.
• Some pantries only serve people in their own part of town.
• It’s always wise to take ID with your address, and proof of family size (if you’re picking up food for the whole family).
